Hijinks Ensue

Thought for the day

Extract from an email I sent last night:

If you ask me it's the outside contractors who get the worst of it. The client employs you to build him a missile complex underneath an extinct volcano, complete with giant piranha-pond, then just as the contract is nearly fulfilled and you're looking forward to blowing all the profit on six months in the Bahamas, Bond comes along and blows the place up. The client gets into a submarine and vanishes, and you're left explaining to your suppliers why you're unable to pay them for the twenty-seven monorail cars you ordered.
